CAPDR President Ion Ștefanovici, in the context of the delegation from Bălți visiting Suceava: a unified vision for the development of the Extended Moldova Region

Suceava, May 2025 – During the official visit recently held in Suceava, the Mayor of Bălți, Mr. Alexandr Petkov, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Tatiana Dubițkaia, had a working meeting with representatives of the Center for Regional Development Analysis and Planning (CAPDR) and Moldova Invest, aiming to strengthen the participation of Bălți Municipality in the Moldova Regional Economic Forum – FERM 2025.
On this occasion, in the absence of the CAPDR President, Mr. Ion Ștefanovici, who was on a working visit to China, the delegation from Bălți was received by Viorica Cemîrtan, Head of the Republic of Moldova Department within CAPDR, and Ioana Lungu, Economic Director of Moldova Invest.
“It is one of my greatest personal satisfactions to know that, although we are thousands of kilometers apart, our team operates with the same rigor, coherence, and sense of mission. The CAPDR departments are led by professionals capable of successfully managing any situation, responding promptly, and advancing the strategic initiatives we build together within the Extended Moldova Region,” stated the CAPDR President.
At the end of his message, Ion Ștefanovici reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the joint and coordinated efforts aimed at achieving the objectives set within the cooperation framework between Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine, with a focus on regional development, investments, and the affirmation of a shared cultural identity.
