CAPDR: The Moldova Region Needs Competence, Rigor, and Genuine Representation

PRESS RELEASE

November 2025

The Centre for Analysis and Planning of Regional Development (C.A.P.D.R.) publicly states a clear, firm and non-partisan position regarding the future of the Moldova Region and how it should be represented, supported and developed in the coming years.

While the political scene pursues its own alliances, agendas and power calculations, there is another Moldova – quiet but determined – which does not live off rhetoric but from real work, concrete initiatives and commitment to the community.

It is the Moldova of entrepreneurs, of teachers, of farmers, of doctors, of young people who choose to stay, of independent organisations and of people who have decided to build rather than align. It is the Moldova of those who work daily for development, without depending on political structures or interest groups.

  • C.A.P.D.R. does not negotiate values.
  • C.A.P.D.R. does not request positions.
  • C.A.P.D.R. does not seek political protection.

Our organisation is non-partisan, yet deeply involved in the economic and social life of the region. We are independent, but directly connected to the realities on the ground and to the actual needs of local communities. We love this region through projects, partnerships and sustained efforts, not through opportunistic statements.

While others manage budgetary and administrative decisions according to interests that do not always reflect the needs of communities, we build solutions:

  • through genuine regional cooperation,
  • through applied expertise,
  • through sustained work and long-term vision,
  • through solid national and international partnerships.

The Moldova Region can no longer be treated with improvisation, formalism or superficial representation. It needs real competence, rigor, vision and integrity. It needs a voice that accurately represents the realities on the ground, the aspirations of the people and the region’s economic potential at the national and European levels.

Today, C.A.P.D.R. signals that there are structures that fail to fully represent the real interests of the Moldova Region in relation to central and European decision-makers. This is a reality that must be corrected through professionalism, transparency and genuine engagement from civil society, the business community and independent experts.

This message is assumed as an act of responsibility. C.A.P.D.R. reaffirms its commitment to:

  • the competitive development of the Moldova Region,
  • the consolidation of international partnerships,
  • the support of the local economy,
  • the creation of opportunities for young people,
  • the efficient and transparent use of European resources.

This is our direction.
And we will not deviate from it.
