Message from Ion ȘTEFANOVICI, President of CAPDR, on the occasion of the Winter Holidays and looking ahead to the year 2026
We are experiencing a period of profound transformations. The Romanian state is undergoing a process of restructuring, while globally we are witnessing the redefinition of balances, the emergence of new alliances, and the shaping of an order in full change.
In such moments, clarity and a comprehensive vision become essential.
History confirms that great undertakings arise from clear directions and decisive actions. They are built step by step and validated over time. That is why the direction we are following is one of preparing for the future, through coherent decisions and committed actions, applied consistently from the present.
The year 2025 has been, for us, a year of consolidation and opening. A year in which we continued and initiated collaborations with approximately 1,000 institutions, organizations, and public administration structures across the entire Region of Moldova, laying solid foundations for joint projects. These efforts were aimed at preparing for the future, in the context of the new European financial framework 2028–2034, in areas essential for the development of our regions. In cases where projects have already reached a level of maturity, concrete collaborations will be announced at the very beginning of 2026, built on this foundation.
Christmas, which is already at our doorstep, reminds us of the values that give meaning to any sustainable endeavor: family, community, solidarity, and respect for people. In the calm of these days, these benchmarks acquire an even deeper significance.
The year 2026 should be welcomed with clarity, balance, and determination. The future is built through continuity, diligent work, and the ability to look beyond the immediate horizon.
At the end of the year, our thoughts turn with gratitude and confidence to all our collaborators across the Region of Moldova, in the Republic of Moldova and in Ukraine, alongside whom we are building, step by step, sustainable projects and shared directions for the future.
