The Department’s main objective is to support the attraction of Foreign Direct Investments in the region, thus facilitating economic development and job creation
This department of CAPDR collaborates with foreign investors interested in the regional market, providing them assistance and support throughout all stages of the investment process, from identifying business opportunities to project implementation. This is achieved by providing information about the business environment in Romania, consultancy on current legislation and regulations, and facilitating contacts with relevant authorities and institutions.
In addition to promoting foreign investments, the department also supports regional foreign trade development. It offers support and consultancy to Romanian and Moldovan companies looking to expand their presence in foreign markets, as well as those interested in identifying new business partners.
The department promotes Romanian and Moldovan products and services internationally and supports the participation of Romanian and Moldovan companies in trade fairs, exhibitions, and economic missions abroad.
The Department for International Relations and Foreign Trade works closely with governmental institutions such as the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Investment Agencies, and economic missions from Bucharest and Chisinau’s diplomatic sphere to ensure a favorable investment climate and foster foreign trade development for Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
