Director of IMSP Bălți, Gheorghe BRÎNZĂ, in the context of FERM 2025: “We have our projects. We are just looking for partners who share the same interests”

100 economic opportunities for the development of the Moldova Region on the A7 Highway route
Present at this year’s edition of the Moldova Regional Economic Forum (FERM), held from July 9–13 in Vatra Dornei, Gheorghe Brînză, director of IMSP Bălți Clinical Hospital, emphasized the importance of identifying new partners and strengthening cooperation networks to access European and international funds.
The event, recognized for its role in stimulating economic, social, and infrastructural development in the Moldova Region, represented for the medical system representative from Bălți an opportunity to open new avenues of collaboration and present ongoing projects.
Clear objectives: energy efficiency and modernization
“Our goal today is simply to establish a few points of connection. Together, later, we can develop projects,” stated Gheorghe Brînză, pointing out that the forum is more than a discussion platform – it is a launchpad for concrete projects with real impact.
The main focus of the hospital team is increasing energy efficiency in medical infrastructure. According to the director of IMSP Bălți Clinical Hospital, the institution seeks partners who share the same priorities: “They are more focused on energy efficiency – building insulation, installation of photovoltaic panels, solar batteries, modernization of elevators.” These initiatives align with a sustainable vision, aimed at reducing the hospital’s operational costs and increasing comfort levels for patients.
From completed projects to future joint initiatives
A central element of participating in FERM 2025 was presenting projects already implemented in Bălți municipality and those currently underway at Bălți Clinical Hospital. “We came to present the projects that have already been implemented and those currently in progress at Bălți Hospital,” Gheorghe Brînză explained. This approach aimed to convince potential partners of the hospital’s institutional capacity to implement sustainable and relevant projects.
A forum of action, not just ideas
When asked whether he sees the forum more as a dialogue platform or a space for concrete action, Brînză emphasized the pragmatic nature of his approach: “We have our projects. We are just looking for partners who share the same interests.”
Beyond the usual rhetoric, the director’s presence at the event demonstrates a proactive approach: accessing funds becomes a collaborative process, and strategic partnerships can accelerate the implementation of modern solutions in healthcare.
Conclusion: The forum as a gateway to the future
Gheorghe Brînză’s participation in FERM 2025 reflects the Moldovan healthcare system’s desire to actively connect to international cooperation and funding networks. In an increasingly interconnected landscape, investments in energy efficiency and modernization of medical infrastructure are not merely a luxury, but a necessity.
Bălți Clinical Hospital thus assumes an active role in shaping a sustainable future for public health in the region, and FERM 2025 served as an important starting point for new collaborations, projects, and prospects for its team.
