Present at the Moldova Regional Economic Forum 2025 (FERM), held from July 9 to 13 in Vatra Dornei, Gheorghe Șoldan, President of the Suceava County Council, emphasized in an interview the importance of materializing the relations between Romania and the Republic of Moldova, advocating for a transition from diplomatic speeches to tangible actions.

“The Republic of Moldova has a very high chance to join the European Union by 2030. It depends greatly on the government of the Republic of Moldova, as it depends greatly on the President, Maia Sandu.”
He recalled that, through the outcome of the latest elections, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova have clearly conveyed a pro-European orientation, thus consolidating the political foundation necessary for such an endeavor.
