Municipality of Bălți Confirms Participation in FERM 2025: Working Meeting Held in Suceava with Forum Organizers

Suceava, May 2025 – As part of the preparations for the Moldova Regional Economic Forum – FERM 2025, which will take place in Vatra Dornei from July 9 to 13, 2025, the organizing team welcomed an official delegation from the Municipality of Bălți, led by Mayor Alexandr Petkov and Deputy Mayor Tatiana Dubițkaia.
The delegation was welcomed by Viorica Cemîrtan, Head of the Republic of Moldova Department within CAPDR, and Ioana Lungu, Economic Director of Moldova Invest. Discussions focused on setting the details for the active participation of the Municipality of Bălți in FERM 2025, both in the thematic sessions and in the cultural program and the “Taste of Moldova” fair.
Representatives of the Municipality of Bălți will be involved in workshops dedicated to cross-border cooperation and local development, with special emphasis placed on the promotion of local products and the involvement of local businesses in the fair. It was also agreed that traditional folk ensembles from Bălți will take part in the cultural program, as an expression of the cultural identity of the Republic of Moldova.
The Forum in Vatra Dornei, organized by the Center for Regional Development Analysis and Planning (CAPDR), with the support of Moldova Invest and regional and international partners, is shaping up to be a major platform for cooperation between local administrations, the economic, cultural, and diplomatic sectors from Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine.
