“For me today, and I believe for you as well, this is a moment of joy because it is the first event for the sustainability of the Casino restoration project”, said Doina Iacoban, who emphasized the importance of the project and mentioned the involvement of several institutions, including the North-East Regional Development Agency, Suceava County Council, and the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuți.
The Park at the Vatra Dornei Casino
Doina Iacoban highlighted that the park at the Vatra Dornei Casino will add value to the region, contributing to tourism development and attracting new investments. “The Vatra Dornei resort will look different, and the destination management organization Țara Dornelor will raise the bar in tourism development”.
Innovative approach
Doina Iacoban highlighted Romania’s impressive budget for the period 2024-2027, mentioning that nearly 26 billion euros are allocated for 16 programs, with the Regional Program taking an innovative approach focused on development and promotion.
“It is essential to write effective, justified, and impactful projects. The call for projects dedicated to innovative start-ups was launched in July, and the funding covers 100% for underdeveloped regions”, explained the administrator of Regional Consulting SRL, encouraging SMEs to adopt advanced technologies and collaborate with universities for knowledge transfer.
Doina Iacoban concluded with a message of optimism and unity: “Moldova has maximum potential. We need to be partners, stay united, not get discouraged, and continue what has been achieved in the last 17 years. We need to live better!”
