100 de oportunități economice pentru dezvoltarea Regiunii Moldova pe traseul Autostrăzii A7
From July 4th to July 6th, 2024, the city of Vatra Dornei will host the Moldova Regional Economic Forum, a significant event organized by the Center for Analysis and Regional Development Planning (C.A.P.D.R.) in collaboration with the Suceava County Council
The forum will bring together business leaders, experts, decision-makers, and diplomatic representatives from across the region.
Ion Ștefanovici, President of the Center for Analysis and Regional Development Planning (C.A.P.D.R.) and organizer of the forum, emphasized the importance of this event in an interview with Radio Moldova.
“The Moldova Regional Economic Forum debuted in 2003, initially focusing on collaboration among the Moldovan counties in Romania. Since 2023, we have expanded participation to include Moldova as well, aiming to develop joint projects and attract European funding”, stated Ștefanovici.
This year, the forum will bring together over 60 representatives from ministries, European funds experts, and officials from various sectors such as energy, development, and health. Representatives from all four development agencies in Moldova, including the Agency for Regional Development Chișinău, will also participate.
Special emphasis will be placed on cross-border collaborations, focusing on joint projects aimed at developing infrastructure, healthcare, and tourism.
“A notable example is the collaboration between emergency units in Chișinău and Iași to develop medical hubs”, mentioned Ștefanovici.
Additionally, the forum will address current challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the region, such as accessing European funds and addressing migration and education issues.
“The Ukrainian delegation will also bring important perspectives, given the current geopolitical context”, added the President of C.A.P.D.R.
The 2024 Moldova Regional Economic Forum promises to be a crucial platform for identifying common solutions and developing sustainable strategies for the region’s future.
