Mesaje publice

The delegation of the Center for Regional Development Analysis and Planning (CAPDR), led by President Ion ȘTEFANOVICI, is currently participating in the official meeting of the China–CEEC Business Council, held in Ningbo – a port city symbolic of China’s economic openness and commercial diplomacy

We believe that relations between China and Central and Eastern Europe must be strengthened through economic, technological, and institutional partnerships. This is why we have decided to publish a delegation journal, offering daily reflections on the perspectives, challenges, and opportunities emerging from this cooperation framework.

DAY 1 – REGISTRATION, FIRST CONTACTS AND A STEP INTO A NEW ARCHITECTURE

CAPDR iti recomanda si ...  Cristian ȘOLOGON, State Secretary within the Ministry of Transport, at FERM 2025: “The A7 and A8 highways will definitely move forward and will generate economic growth for the Moldova Region”

Today we completed official registration, engaged in early exchanges with delegations from Europe and China, and began outlining areas of common interest. We particularly emphasized the importance of ensuring that Central and Eastern Europe becomes an active and visible player within this multilateral cooperation platform.

Romania, through CAPDR, is committed to promoting the Extended Moldova Region as a future hub for strategic cooperation.

CAPDR iti recomanda si ...  President of the Romania–China Chamber of Commerce, Nicolae Vasilescu, at FERM 2025: “The True Moldova Means Unity Beyond Borders”

We strongly believe that the future is built through bridges, not walls. And this bridge between China and Central and Eastern Europe needs vision, professionalism, and coordinated action.

Footnote:

Unfortunately, Romania currently has no direct flights to China. Our layover in Frankfurt significantly increased the duration and difficulty of the journey. Other European countries, such as Germany, show a clearer understanding of the importance of fostering bilateral relations with the People’s Republic of China.
